Harry E. Williams was a U.S. Marine Corps private who served aboard the USS Helena in China in 1910, according to the census. Also on board that ship was Ellis N. Staats, 23, of West Virginia. It appears from your site that Nathan E. Staats and Ellis N. Staats are probably the same person, and he is probably the brother of Ina Lois Staats. I am guessing that Ellis N. Staats took Harry E. Williams home with him after their service and Harry met and married Ina. He then took her to his home in Dayton, Ohio. (Kathy Borne)
