Goldie Irene Summers, 82, of Spencer died Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Roane General Hospital.
She was born in Charleston, a daughter of the late Amos "Bow" and Martha Tolley Moore. She was a cook at Roane County Committee on Aging and a former employee of Kellwood Co. and Spencer State Hospital. She was a member of Spencer Baptist Temple.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Domer of Wooster, Ohio, Freda Greathouse of Amma and Patricia Paxton of Spencer; four sons, Larry Moore and Edward Dale Huffman, both of Ripley, and Orland Huffman and Phillip Holcomb, both of Spencer; three sisters, Shirley Marks of Walton, Audrey Deel of Poca and Dorothy Summerfield of Spencer; and 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Orland Carlis Huffman; second husband, Paul Holcomb; third husband, Everett Summers; and four brothers, Alvin, Walter, John and Clarence "Jake" Moore.
Service was Tuesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Perrine officiating. Burial was in Clover Cemetery.
