Iona Virginia “Midge” Craig Grady, 74, of Buffalo died August 17, 2002, in St. Mary’s Hospital, Huntington, following a short illness.
She was a homemaker, attended West Virginia Home Mission, Nitro, and was a lifelong resident of Putnam County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Oldaker Craig, and husband, John O. Grady.
Surviving: daughters, Cynthia Fox of Hometown and Barbara Grady Dickerson of Columbus, Ohio; sons, William E. Grady of Nitro, Jerry A. Grady of Vincent, Ohio, and Danny J. Grady of Laurens, South Carolina; brothers, Howard C. Craig and Roy M. Craig, both of Buffalo, and Johnny M. Craig of Bowles Ridge; sisters, Elnora Hill of Buffalo, Berna Joe Higginbotham of Leon, and Hazel Absten of Cottageville; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Service was held Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo, with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Burial was in the Craig-Oldaker Cemetery, Buffalo. (Putnam Post)
