Mary could be Susan M. Probably Catharine died and Jesse remarried, but I don't find a marriage record for him. It seems likely that there was only one Jesse L Hall born about 1814 but not impossible. However, this Jesse was a physician and the one in 1870 is a preacher. In 1860 Ritchie Co, there is a Cyrus D Hall, 16, living in the household of Cyrus Hall 38, lawer, VA. Could be an uncle? There is a marriage in Braxton County for Robert G Hall, 48, born Ritchie Co, to Mary Jones. Hall, of the Methodist Protestant church, died Monday afternoon about 4 o'clock at the family residence, No. 1209 Avery St. She had long been a sufferer but relief came at the last and she passed peacefully away. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. R.L. Conley, and a son, H.K. Hall, who, with their mother, have resided in Parkersburg for the last nine years.
