Judith Marian (Rhodes) Holley passed away September 23, 2012, at a rehab center in Parkville, Md, after a long illnes. She had been a resident of Baltimore, Md, for 35 years. She was born in Charleston in 1939 and attended Stonewall Jackson and South Charleston High School. She graduated from Morris Harvey College with a degree in nursing. She was a nurse at CAMC, Charleston, and Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston. She furthered her career by becoming a nurse anesthetist. She went to Johns Hopkins in 1975 and also worked at Mt. Sinai and The Harbor Medical Center. She is survived by her children, Robert Lee Holley of Parkville and Philip N. Holley of Texas; daughter-in-law, Tammy Holley, and one grandchild, Katy, both of Texas; sister, Iris A. Jackson of South Charleston; and nieces, Christine Mendel, Elaine Bleigh, Lorene Jackson and Katherine Jackson, all of South Charleston. Graveside service will be held at Jenkins Cemetery, Charleston, Edens Fork exit on I-77, Rich Fork of Kanawha Two Mile, on Saturday, October 6, at 11 a.m.
