Mr. Hall, a mail-carrier contractor the past 37 years, was a past president of the West Virginia Branch of the National Star Route Mail Carriers Association. He was a member of the Elmira Baptist Church in Braxton County and attended the St. Johns United Methodist Church in Teays Valley. Mr. Hall was a five-year resident of Putnam County. Survivors: wife, Nellie Lawson Hall; sons, Edward David of Spring Hill, Denver Hall of Mesa, Ariz., E. O. Hall of Dunbar; stepson, Neil Wooter of St. Albans; daughter, Mrs. Eva O'Hearn of Miami, Fla,; stepdaughter, Mrs. Nancy Nicholas of St. Albans; brothers, O. L. Hall of Fayetteville, Perry Hall of Frametown, Hugh Hall and Herbert Hall of Gassaway, Vance Hall of Ravenna, Ohio; sister, Mrs. Velma Knotts of Orma. Service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the St. Johns United Methodist Church, Teays Valley, with the Rev. William Hart in charge. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
