He was born Oct. 19, 1914, a son of the late Virgil and Elva Root Casto. He attended Marietta schools and First Congregational Church here before moving to Canton in 1935. In December of 1937, he was married to Oneida Beebe who survives, with one sister, Mrs. Mary Miller of Canton and two nephews. Several cousins reside in the Marietta area. Mr. Casto was employed with Republic Steel Co. in Canton from 1935 until one year ago. He and his wife had moved to Louisville in 1940. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Jacob Waltner Funeral Home at Canton.
