      Mrs. Nora M. Pickering, 93, of 305 Randolph St., died Monday at home after a long illness.
      She was a member of Humphries Memorial United Methodist Church.
      Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Casto and Mrs. Geneva Staab of Charleston; son, Layton of Ashtabula, Ohio; brother, W. E. Lowe of Renick; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
      Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Thompson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at
      the funeral home
