      Charleston Man Escapes Injury
RIPLEY (AP) - An automobile accident early Saturday killed a 27-year-old West Virginia university law student, Collet Woodrow Skeen of Ripley.
State Police Cpl. C. W. Dye said Skeen was the driver of a car which went over an embankment on Limestone Hill, along U. S. Rt. 21 near the Wood-Wirt county line.
Skeen and a passenger, Herbert F. Parsons, 28, of Charleston, were returning from Friday night's Little Kanawha bowl football game in Parkersburg. Parsons was treated by a Ripley physician, but was not hurt seriously enough to be hospitalized.
Skeen would have begun his final year in law school this fall. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Skeen of Ripley.
