She was born in London, England a daughter of the late Charles A. Simmons and Eliza (Goldlthorp) Simmons. She was a homemaker and a member of the Alpine Bible Church in Sugarcreek, OH. She is survived by a daughter Carol A. Thorne (Mel) of Verona, VA; two sons Terry L. Miller (Lois) of Sugarcreek, OH, and Michael D. Miller (Shellie) of Williamstown, WV, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. "Barney" Miller, and one son Charles B. Miller Jr. Services will be Tuesday 1:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Byron Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery South. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday. There will also be a memorial service 7:00 PM Wednesday January 20, 2010 at the Alpine Bible Church in Sugarcreek OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alpine Bible Church, 719 Dutch Valley Drive NE, Sugarcreek OH 44681 or to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 West Third Street, Dover, OH 44622.
