Phyllis was born in Roane County West Virginia on December 28, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Nathan and Stella Taylor. She was the mother of 7, grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 10. She attended Trinity Baptist Church, South Charleston and loved camping, fishing, and gardening. She is survived by her husband Okey Miller; children and their spouses, Larry and Cookie Miller of South Charleston, Deborah and Gary Thompson of North Carolina, Sharon and Richard Parsons of South Charleston, Donna and Jack Cooper of Florida, Tim and Carolyn Miller of Sissonville, Thomas Miller of North Carolina, Russell and Tammy Miller of St. Albans. A service to honor the life of Phyllis will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday December 28, at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston with Rev. Gene Pauley officiating. Family and friends will visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memories of Phyllis may be shared by visiting snodgrassfuneral.com.
