Hodd Carlton Milhoan, Jr., 87, of Ravenswood, WV passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Ravenswood Village, Ravenswood, WV.
He was born June 17, 1930 in Ravenswood, WV, a son of the late Hodd Carlton Sr. and Vera (Cather) Milhoan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a son, Gary Gene Milhoan; grandchildren; Selena Dawn Reynolds and Earl James Reynolds, III; brothers, Dallas Dayton, Ronnie, Wayne, Nile, and Bobby Milhoan; sisters, Phyllis Pierce and Betty Laffere.
He was a retired crane operator for Ravenswood Aluminum with 32 years of service and a member of United Steelworkers Union Local #5668, Ravenswood. He was a United States Army veteran. He enjoyed square dancing, clogging, baseball, softball, coon hunting and playing bingo at the Village.
Survivors include his son, Larry Wayne Milhoan and his wife, Lacretia, of Ravenswood; daughters, Diana Lea Reynolds of Hampton, VA, Darlene Sue Gregg and her husband, Barry, of Ravenswood, Janet Ann Higginbotham of Leon, Sharon Lynn Willis and her husband, Bryan, of Beckley; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Gordon Milhoan of Parkersburg; sisters; Juanita Milhoan of Ripley and Vonnie Milhoan of Ravenswood.
Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Ravenswood, WV, with Rev. Donald Maxson officiating. Burial will follow Howell Cemetery, Murraysville, WV. Visitation will be Sunday, 1 p.m.—2 p.m. at the funeral home.
