  Notes	The Jackson Herald Nov 17, 1911 Mr Baker's Illness Fatal Mr D. M. Baker, a prominent merchant and postmaster at Sandyville, W Va, passed away at his home in Sandyville last Sunday evening at 9:50. He was born at Leroy, Jackson County, W Va, September 19, 1846, being the son of Eliah B and Nancy Baker, whose maiden name was Nancy Wolf. He grew to manhood near Leroy and on January 20, 1872, was married to Miss Mary E Johnson. To his happy union were born seven children, John M, M Della, Nan O, Greek B, James E, Ida B and Charles E Baker.
