Elizabeth FISHBACH
-
Name Elizabeth FISHBACH Born 1685 Siegen, Germany
Gender Female Died Aft 1760 Fauquier County, Virginia, USA
Notes - The parents of Elizabeth had three daughters named Elizabeth, two Mary Elizabeths born 1687 and 1696 and one Anna Elizabeth born 1685. It is probable that Anna Ellizabeth married Hans Richter, accoring to the Germanna Record.
It would appear that John Marr and Elizabeth Rector had no children.
The last record of Elizabeth Marr....was in 1760, when she was paid a small amount fromteh seatae fo Timothy Reading, decd, whomarried teh widow of John Rector (d. 1742) and was the stepfather of John and Nathaniel Rector. (Fauquier Co Will Book 1, pg 73.) It is stated in the Holtzclaw book that in her old age, Wlizabeth (Fishach) Rector Marr married (3) Col, John Finlayson, but I can find no proof of this. She was still Elizabeth in 1760, when she was either 73 or 64. depending on whether she was the daughter born in 1687 or 1696.
(pages 8 &9 show records of Elizabeth and her sons by John Jacob Rector, John, Harman, Henry, and Jacob Rector.)
