Where are Joe and the other kids? Why is Charles l/w Hamons - is he son of their daughter? Was Mary Hamon married to a Garrett before she married Joe?
The 1850 JC census shows Elijah, age 3, l/w George & Jane Fields - his marriage record shows he is the son of Joseph and Polly. So this means he was born about 1847, before Joe married Polly Garrett, but that doesn't mean he isn't their son!
