Casto, Lillie May
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Casto, 77, widow of the late Dr. O. J. Casto, were held at McPherson, Kansas, Thursday afternoon and burial was in a cemetery there. She died the previous Sunday night. Mrs. Casto formerly lived at Evans, later moving to Ripley, and a few years later she and Dr. Casto moved to Garden City, Kansas. She had been a resident of McPherson for seven years and prior to that time lived for more than 30 years in Hutchinson, Kansas. Dr. Casto died in 1921. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frankie C. Babbitt of Hutchinson and Mrs. Donald L. Crawford of McPherson; two sons, O. J. Casto of Oakland, California and Keith Casto of McPherson; seven grandchildren and two brothers. (Jackson Herald, Friday, 8 July 1949)
