Genealogy of the Hubbell Family.  Cornell, John W. ?Goshen, IN: (n.d.; ca. 1917)       Jabez Hubbell was the son of Stephen Hubbell and Abigail (Squires) Hubbell of Fairfield county, Conn.  He married Sarah Seeley.  Clarissa Hubbell, his daughter, was born in Connecticut, April 21, 1767.  He came from Connecticut to Cooperstown, N.Y., where his wife, Sarah died and was buried in New York in 1754, after which    Jabez Hubbell and daughter, Clarissa, came from Cooperstown, N.Y. to Rutland, Meigs county, Ohio, October 13, 1803, where Clarissa died July 9, 1848, age, 81 years.  Clarissa Hubbell married Felix Benedict at Rutland, Meigs county, Ohio, son of Elisha and Jerusha Benedict.  Felix Benedict, husband of Clarissa (Hubbell) Benedict, died October 29, 1828. ...
