He was the informant on the death record of his mohter, Mary Jane McGee Blake Powell, whose mother (Elizabeth Knotts McGee)remarried (John P Custer). Assuming the Lester Blake who was the informant was son William Lester, he didn't know his grandfather. With the multiple marriages, he probably didn't know or care who his ancestors were. His birthdate is up for grabs. No one knew anything about anyone!
