  Notes	Jonathan Rupe, son of Washington and Elizabeth Rupe was born near Kyger, Oh, April 21, 1842 and died on the farm north of town, where he had lived for 46 years, Nov 15, 1920, aged 78 years, 6 mo, and 24 days, He was married to Caroline Swisher on Oct 23, 1860. To this union were born five children, Electa, Horton, Ethel, Roy and Clyde. Horton died Feb 1, 1895. Ethel died Oct 25, 1900. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs Electa Rowland of Columbus, Roy and Clyde. three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs Caroline Arnold and brothers Jacob, Washington, Wm, Perry and Frank adn many other relatives and friends. his brother Henry and sister Adaline died many years ago.
