She was united in marriage to Richard Clark Ankrum on Dec. 5, 1889, and to this union were born five children, all of whom still survive. Her husband preceded her in death 37 years ago. She is survived by the following children: L. O. Ankrum, Lydia Ankrum, Mrs. P. K. Sayre, and Hattie Ankrum, of Cottageville and John F. Ankrum of Marmet; a foster daughter, Mrs. Mildred Schoonover of Charleston, whom she reared from infancy; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Gerlach and Mrs. Susie Parsons of Cottageville, and a host of relatives and friends. She was honored with a memorial at Hebron Chapel by the Rev. W. I. Fiber of Cottageville and interment was made in the Vail Cemetery by J. B. Vail.
