Mary E. SKEEN
Mary E. SKEEN, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Pierce SKEEN, died on Wednesday, August 2, 1911, at the home of her parents, near Fletcher, W.Va., of tuberculosis, age 28. Miss SKEEN was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, an estimable young lady whose intimely death is much deplored. She is survived by her parents, one sister and five brothers, Mrs. Clark SIMMONS of Kenna, F. B. SKEEN, I. O. SKEEN, J. L. SKEEN, W. D. SKEEN, and Dolph SKEEN. The funeral services were held from the home of the deceased, Rev. J. S. RHODES officiating. Interment was made in the family cemetery. (Mountaineer, 18 Aug 1911)
