She was a lifelong resident of Putnam County, a member of Hometown Senior Citizens and their choir. She was also a member of Lone Oak Church of God Mission. Surviving: daughter, Della Sue Herdman of Bancroft; sons, William D. of Ravenswood, Howard S. of Scott Depot, Ralph D. of Poca, Sherman O. of Eleanor, Robert F. of Liberty; sisters, Helen Goff of South Charleston, Kathalee Deal of Poca, Edra Russell of South Charleston, Maxine Randolph of Petersburg, Va.; brother, Linzey Higginbotham of Nitro; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lone Oak Church of God Mission, Red House, with Nyle Fisher officiating. Burial will be in New Antioch Cemetery, Liberty.
