Mary Ann (Hardman) Smith, 66, of Ripley, WV, passed away December 30, 2017, at her home following an extended illness.
She was born May 11, 1951, in Winona, WV, a daughter of the late Ferd ”Happy” and Alice P. (Randolph) Hardman. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Michael A. Smith; sisters, Loretta Harper and Doris Good.
Mary was a homemaker and former employee of Wolfe Slaughter House, Ripley, WV. She enjoyed crafts, spending time with her grandchildren and socializing.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Gail Smith of Ripley; brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Larry Hardman; sisters, Helen and Bonnie Skeen; four grandchildren.
Service will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 1 p.m. for a graveside service in the Kiser Cemetery, Kentuck, WV.
