Williams, 84, of Ravenswood, died Wednesday, April 10, 1996, at her residence. She was born in Roane County, a daughter of the late Howard Henry and Dora Esther Cobb Hamrick. She was a former employee of Slaven's Department Store, a member of the Ravenswood Senior Citizens and the North Ravenswood United Methodist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Doris Williams and Sandy Caudill, both of columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Howard Hamrick of Michigan and Bret Hamrick of Charleston; one sister, Maxine Vidigan of Southgate, Mich.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Virgil Williams; four daughters, Betty Lou Williams, Barbara Sue Williams, Wilma Williams and Thelma Williams; five brothers, Ralph Hamrick, William Noyse Hamrick, Curt Hamrick, Oscar Hamrick and Roy Hamrick; and one sister, Betty Moore. Services were Saturday at North Ravenswood United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Crawford officiating. Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, was in charge of arrangements.
