McClung
Mabel F. Woodrum McClung, 88, of Hico passed away Friday, March 23, 2007, in a personal care home in Fayetteville.
Mrs. McClung was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Kincaid and was the daughter of the late John R. and Florence Winter Woodrum.
She was a member of Sunday Road Baptist Church, Hico. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and loved gardening. She retired from the Fayette County Board of Education as a teacher after 44 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton McClung, in 1995.
Surviving are one son, Elton ?Butch? McClung of Hico, and one brother, Edgar W. Woodrum of Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, at Sunday Road Baptist Church, Hico, with the Rev. David Sneed and Pastor Allen Donaldson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Rest Mausoleum, Victor.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted.
