      George G. Naylor obit from the Jackson Herald of July 10, 1914.
      George G, the third son of John and Sarah R Naylor, was born in Fayette County, Penna, August 16, 1849.
      He came to Jackson county, West Virginia, in 1869, and located on the farm occupied by him until the time of his death, coming into the forest and clearing the farm and making it a home for himself and family.
      He was married August 29, 1871, to Rebecca J Thomas. To this union were born six children, two sons and four daughters. Three of the daughters, Mrs Rosie M Spear, Mrs Clara M Sallaz and Miss Winnie Naylor, having preceded him to the spirit world. His wife died December 3, 1883. August 20, 1886, he was again married, to Mrs Mollie I McGuigan, of Cutler, Ohio, who died January 18, 1888. On March 31, 1897, he was married to Mrs Eva I Hale of Plymouth, Ohio, who survive him.
      He was converted in the spring of 1874, during a siege of typhoid fever, he joined the M.E. Church at Red Brush which was soon changed to the Warden Chapel church, of which he remained a faithful member until his death. At his death the church lost one of its best and most liberal friends. He died June 29, 1914, aged 64 years 10 months and 13 days.
      He is survived by the following children: Walter L,. L.G., and Miss Katie Naylor, also by one brother, U.C. Naylor, who had made his home with him for many years.
      The funeral services were held at Warden church, Tuesday afternoon, June 30, conducted by Rev H.K. Riffe of Fayetteville, a former pastor, assisted by Rev C.E. Price, of the home church. Interment in the Red Brush cemetery.
      He will be sadly missed by the entire community.
