  Notes	From the obit collection of Ethel Faye Taylor Landers sent by her daughter Marilyn Landers Terry J. F. Cobb, Dead. J. F. Cobb, son of Z. T. & S. E. Cobb, was born May 17, 1870, died April 24, 1915. He was married to Ella Tolley, Jan 25, 1891 and to this union were born six children all of whom survive to mourn their loss. He was converted about 7 years ago and united with the M. E. Church at Fairview and remained a faithful member until his death. Brother Cobb was an active member of the church and did what he could for the advancement of the Redeemer's kingdom. He had many friends, and his death will be keenly felt in this community and more especially in the home, as he leaves six orphan children as follows: Ira, Effie, Orda, Cecil, Elsie and Ival, whose mother preceded him to the other world ten years ago. An aged father, mother, three brothers and four sister as follows: Mrs M. J. Rhodes, C. H. Cobb, Mrs. R. M. Taylor, Mrs. Lona Cox, Mrs. Rosetta Cobb and W. E. Cobb of Higby and N. B. Cobb of South Perry, Ohio, still survive to mourn their loss. He and his wife's funerals were preached by the writer at the Fairview Church Sunday evening, April 25, after which his remains were laid to rest in the home cemetery by the side of his wife.
