On November 1, 1838, Phoebe married Thomas Burr Kittle in Randolph County, West Virginia. On her marriage record she is listed as the daughter of Moses Phillips. Her name is spelled Phebe on her marriage record and Thomas name is spelled Thos B.
In 1841 they lived in Beverly District, Randolph County, West Virginia. - Their son Moses Kittle was born on July 9, 1841 in Beverly, West Virginia. (His death certificate says Beverly, Ohio, but this is an error. All the Census records state he was born in Virginia (now West Virginia).
