STORE WILL CLOSE FOR MORRISON RITE

O. J. Morrison Department Store on Capitol St. will be closed all day tomorrow out of respect to the owner, who died Monday night at his winter home in Coral Gables, Fla.
The body will arrive in Charleston tonight and will be taken to Bartlett mortuary. Mr. Morrison, 83, lived at 1505 Quarrier St.
A family service was held Wednesday night in Coral Gables and the final service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Christ Church Methodist. The body will be taken to the church at 1:30 p.m.
Dr. Joseph Clare Hoffman will conduct the service, and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
A spokesman of the Charleston store said other Morrison stores throughout the state also would close. He did not designate on what days.
