  Notes	The Jackson Herald, May 14, 1915 Mrs Elizabeth Caroline Sayre, wife of Josephus Sayre, died at her home at Evans, at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning. She was 63 years of age. Mrs Sayre had been in failing health for about a year, following an attach of pneumonia from which she never recovered. She united with the U.B. church 46 years ago, and lived a noble, christian life, and leaves many friends who will be pained to learn of her death. The funeral service was held at the Otterbein church at 2 pm Wednesday, conducted by Rev Ramsey, after which the remains were buried in the Otterbein Cemetery. Those surviving are the husband, two sons, M.L. of Ambridge, Pa, and W.R., at home; two daughters, Mrs Will King, of Cottageville, and Mrs Sam Sayre, of Baden, Mason county; two sisters, Mrs T.J. Rader of Ripley, Mrs. G.R Casto of Millwood, and five brothers, J.S. Hogsett, of Letart, Ohio; J.W. and W.H. Hogsett of Ripley; D.M. Hogsett, of North Platte, Neb, and F.M. Hogsett, of Evans.
