  Notes	The Gallipolis Daily Tribune December 26, 1957 Forrest Wheaton Dies In Hospital Forrest Wheaton, 73, a farmer who lived on a Cheshire Rt. died in the Holzer hospital at 1:55 a.m. today. He had been in ill health for four weeks and was admitted to the hospital about a week ago. Since then his condition had been critical. He spent his entire lifetime in Gallia county. He was born at Eno on June 12, 1884. His wife, the former Maude Strausbaugh preceded him in death in 1954. Children who survive this union are Mrs. William (Lilly Mae) Oxyer, Mrs. Dowl (Ethel) Little, Marie Wheaton and Harold, all of Cheshire, Joe of Columbus and John of Fairborn. There are 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are set tentatively by the Rawlings-Coats Funeral home at Middleport for 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Poplar Ridge cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
