  Notes	Gallipolis Bulliten ----Thurs 9 Jan 1913 Geo. W. Jenkins, son of Wm. S. Jenkins and Cynthia (Scott) Jenkins, was born Aug. 1st, 1837 and died Jan. 1st, 1913, aged 75 years, 5 months. Mr Jenkins joined the First Kyger Free Will Baptist Church in his youth. He was married to Caroline V. Shuler Aug. 1st, 1870. His wife,brother Benjamin and numerous relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss, two brother and three sisters, together with his parents having proceeded him in death. He live a quite, Christian life, and was loved by all that knew him. During his last illness he nerver muttered or complained but bore his afflictions with true Christian faith. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Sprouse at the Poplar Church. Burial at Poplar.
