Cooper, 77, a retired potter who resided with a daughter, Mrs. Waunda Wilson, of Glenmoor, Ohio, was pronounced dead on arrival at the City Hospital there on Wednesday about 9:45 p.m. following a heart attack. He became ill earlier while visiting another daughter, Mrs. Thelma Shamp, of Calcutta, Ohio. Mr. Cooper was born in Sherman, WV and worked as a caster at the Hall China Co., returing in 1943. He then moved to Loretta, WI, where he resided for 10 years. He returned three years ago to Ohio. His wife, Rosa Cooper, died June 5, 1959. He leaves another daughter, Mrs. Emma French, of LaMesa, CA; four sons, Kenneth Cooper of Loretta, Norman Cooper of Hayward, WI, and Ted Cooper of Waukesha, WI; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
