      Warren Parsons of Kasota, born in Pike Co., IL, Sept. 12, 1848, son of
      Solomon Parsons, who moved from VA to OH, where he married, near Dayton,
      Miss Mary Smith, a native of OH, dau. of an Englishman, Bryan D. Smith
      (Marriage Records, Highland Co. OH, "Solomon Parsons to Mary Smith, 19
      Nov., 1846 by Jonathan M. Flood)" Afterward he moved to Pike Co., IL,
      settling near Pittsfield. Solomon Parsons was in the Gold Rush, where he
      died, leaving his widow, and two sons in IL. His widow married S. E.
      Livingston, and in 1853, the family moved to Minn, locating in Sibley Co.,
      and being among the pioneers of Henderson. By 2nd marriage Mrs. Livingston
      had six children. By Solomon Parsons she had Warren and Oliver.

      Warren Parsons - Civil War, 1865, 1st Minn. Inf. Vol. Co. G. Honorably
      discharged July, 1865, at St. Paul, aged 17 years. In 1882, he located
      where he has since lived in the village of Kasota. Employed as a fireman at
      Stae Infirmary or Hospital. During army service, he contracted a disease
      which became chronic, and from which he has never fully recovered. He
      married, 26 Jan. 1875, Miss Delilah Parsons, born in Hancock Co., IL, dau.
      of Jesse C. and Lucy (McMillian) Parsons, the former a Virginian by birth
      and a veteran of the Civil War. Mr. and Mrs Warren parsons now live in St.
      Peter. CHILDREN: Walbeck E.; 2. Harry; 3. Mabel; 4 Ethel; 5. Effie; 6.
      Waldo; 7. Leslie. Mr. Parsons is a member of the G.A.R., A.K. Skaro Post,
      No. 37, of St Peter; member of Woodman of the World; Baptist, & deacon in
      the Church.
