Name Elijah Hill Born Abt 1845 Virginia, USA
[1] Gender Male Died 16 Dec 1864 Andersonville Prison, Andersonville, Georgia, USA
[2] Notes - From a post on the Jackson County Message Board:
The only Elijah that I have record was one grandchild of Jonathan, Elijah Hill, born about 1844 son of Jonathan’s son, Labon and Rebecca Woodruff Hill. He was a Union soldier in the Civil war serving as Private in Company K., 131 Volunteers. He was taken prisoner at Berryville, Virginia 20 August 1864 and held at Salisbury, North Carolina until his death 16 December 1864. So I suspect he was not the one who married in Jackson County, West Virginia, 15 November 1835 Dianna Curry
