  Notes	Perry Darrell Gandee - Charleston Daily Mail - (Aug/13/2004) Perry Darrell Gandee, 81, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord Aug. 10, 2004. He was born May 16, 1923, in Jackson County, the son of the late W. Hint and Alice Gandee. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum, worked 23 years at Gravely Tractor, was a veteran of World War II, was a co-owner of Gandee Motors, Ripley, and was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Elizabeth Mae Anderson Gandee; four sisters, Darcel Gandee, Lessie Gandee, Opal Anderson and Garnet Southall; and grandson, Kevin Gandee. Surviving: sons and their wives, Keith and Nancy Gandee of Durham, N.C., Roger and Wanda Gandee of Ghent; sister and her husband, Tressie and Orville Walker of Ripley; brother and his wife, Bill and Betty Gandee of Nitro; and special friend, Gerry Boggess of Charleston. Also surviving are three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Cobb and the Rev. Art Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Stonelick Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations to Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 1648 Sugar Creek Drive, Charleston, WV 25312.
