From the 8/30/1973 Charleston Gazette:
Mrs. Leota Jane Hively, 88, who resided with a daughter, Mrs. W. O. Kirk of 2716 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans, died Tuesday at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was formerly of Roane County.
Also surviving: daughter, Mrs. Alma Shaffer of Elk Hills; son, Oarus W. Hively of Circleville, Ohio; sister, Mrs. Anzy Hunt of Charleston; brother, Arthur M. Taylor of Charleston; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Bartlett-Burdette Funeral Home is in charge or arrangements.
Service will be 1 pm Friday at Bartlett-Burdette Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery in Roane County.
