Stella Jane Stalnaker
Stella Jane Stalnaker, 78, of Point Pleasant, died Wednesday afternoon, April 11, 1990 at Pleasant Valley Hospital.
Born September 9, 1911 in Jackson County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Maggie (Miracle) Parsons. She attended the Trinity United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil L. Stalnaker; two sons, Billy L. and Lewis R.; a granddaughter; three brothers and a sister.
She is survived by three daughters, Mildred Waldeck of Reynoldsburg, OH, Phyllis Kapp of Plain City, OH and Janet S. Hartley of Point Pleasant; three sons, Bruce of Pembroke Pines, FL, Oral of Plain City, OH and Bob L. of Gallipolis; four sisters, Ellen Garrett of Ripley, Goldie Fields of Ripley, Melva Fields of Staats Mill, WV and Velma Gainer of Pennsboro, WV; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home with the Rev. Louis A. Hussell officiating. Burial will follow at the Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant.
Visiting hours will be at the funeral home on Friday, April 13 from 5-9 p.m.
