  Notes	Was a Corporal with Company F, 9th Regiment of W.Va Volunteer Infantry. Enlisted as a Private on February 9, 1862 for three years. Company rolls list him present to August 31. In September and to October 16, 1862 he is listed as "Deserted', then says mistakenly reported "Deserted". He re-einlisted on February 29, 1864. Reported March, April, May and June as sick in hospital at Grafton, Va. Mustered out as a Corporal with Detatchment on July 26, 1865 at Wheeling, West Virginia. Calvin died on March 26, 1879. He had gone across the Ohio River to Racine, Ohio for supplies and died there, he was found lying dead in the bottom of his skiff.
