  Notes	"From the Rhine to the Shenandoah" Peter and Verena are listed in the records as residents of Buchholterberg, a group of farms in the mountain valley southeast of Oberdiessbach. The Anabaptist movement was especially strong in this area of Bern and seemed to Flourish especially in the remote valleys such as Buchholterberg. Peter and verena are not listed among those expelled in the early 18th century but in all likelihood this is what happened since there is no further record of them or thier children at Oberdiessbach. By 1717 Christian and Jost Beutler were listed among Anabaptists living in the Palatinate.
