  Notes	From the 1/16/1936 Charleston Gazette: Robert Martin Chapman Last rites for Robert Martin Chapman, 68, who died Tuesday of a heart attack at his home on Jake's Creek, are to be held at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the residence. Burial will be in the Strickland cemetery nearby. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Rebecca Chapman, five daughters, Evelyn, Effie, and Mrs. Perlie Monk of Frame, Mrs. Vrna Smith of Advent and Mrs. Tressie Smith of Clendenin. Five sons, Melvin, Lawrence, Orphie, Amos and Dolphus, all of Frame; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Burgess of Charleston and Mrs. Amanda Myers of Amma and two brothers, W. C. Chapman, Elkview and Edgar Chapman, Big Chimney.
