  Notes	Ripley - Frances M. Casto, 87, of Ripley, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Pleasant Valley Hospital following a long illness. She was born January 8, 1920 at Fairplain, a daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle Webster Hanning. She was a cook in the Jackson County School system for 31 years and was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by daughter Sue Burkholder and husband Edd of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and son-in-law Wayne Crawford of Given. Nine grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren also survive her. In addition to her parents, husband Cleo H. Casto, daughter Connie Crawford, brother Walter Hanning and sister Opal Taylor preceded her in death. Funeral services well be 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007 at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Mike Elder officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Given. Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m. today, March 8, 2007, at the funeral home. (The Jackson Star News, Thursday, March 8, 2007)
