JOHN O. RHODES, 81, OF RIPLEY, DIED JAN. 2, 1991, in Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.
He was owner of Rhodes Used Car with 40 years' service.
Surviving: daughter, Wilma Sayre of Cottageville; brother, Everett of Ripley; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Lawrence Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Shinn-Webster Cemetery, Fairplain. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
