Ernest Rhodes
Ernest Kenna Rhodes, 67, of 436 Park Ave, South Charleston, died Thursday in Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired employee of Peerless Block Co and was a member of the Teamsters Union and Fairview United Methodist Church in Roane County.
Surviving: wife, Myrtle Gay Rhodes, sons, Ernest E of Hurricane, Estel L of South Charleston; daughters, Mrs Margaret Croson and Mrs Ella Mae Garner of St Albans; Mrs Helen Moss of Winston-Salem, NC; brother, Delmar Rhodes of Indianapolis, INd; sisters, Mrs Elsa Westfall and Mrs Rosa Stalnaker of Charleston, Mrs Monnie Waggoner of Spencer.
Service will be held Saturday at 11 am in Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston, with the Rev Morton Estee officiating. Burial will be in the Ferrell Cemetery in Roane County.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
