  Notes	Del K. HOOD         Funeral services for Del K. HOOD, native of Ripley who died in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night of last week after a long illness, were held from the Epsworth Methodist Church in Ripley on Saturday with the Rev. W. W. HARVEY in charge and burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Mr. HOOD is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine FIFE of Pittsburgh and numerous nieces and nephews in this vicinity. [1874-1947 son of Davis Kenney & Rebecca M. MCGREW HOOD. Wife was Anna CROW HOOD 1876-1938] (Jackson Herald, Fri., 5 Dec 1947)
