PARKERSBURG - Verda Rhodes, 88, of Parkersburg died Oct. 3, 1997, at home after a long illness.
She was a Christian and a homemaker.
Surviving: sister, Vesta Harpold of Rockport; brother, with whom she made her home, Ovel of Parkersburg.
Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Donald E. Matheny officiating. Burial will be in Aplin Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. (Charleston Newspapers)
