Mable S. Simmons
Mable S. Simmons, 87, of Hartville, Ohio, died Nov. 2, 2000, at Altercare of Hartville.
Mrs. Simmons was born in Jackson County, W. Va.
She is survived by daughters, Glenva Khun of Canton, Ohio, Anne Thompson of Media, Pa., and Mollie Dennis of Parkersburg, W. Va.; daughters-in-law, Juanita Stalnaker of Akron, Ohio, and Anneliese Stalnaker of Warther, Ga.; stepson, Kenneth Simmons of St. Petersburg, Fla.; stepdaughter, Kathryn Whisman of Houston, Texas; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Casto of Kentuck, W. Va., and Glenver Casto of Uniontown, Ohio; and sister, Helen Casto of Kentuck, W. Va.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Stalnaker and Floyd L. Simmons; sons, Otho C. and John C. Stalnaker; and stepdaughters, Marlene Schayes and LaRue Pizzo.
Funeral services Sunday, 1:30 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver UNIONTOWN Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St., with Rev. Rod G. Taylor officiating. Burial at Center Chapel Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio, on Monday at 12 Noon. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY from 5 to 7 p.m.
