  Notes	Sadie Staats, 91, of Sandyville, W.VA. died April 22, 2002, in Marietta Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Sept. 6, 1910, at Gay in Jackson County, W.Va. daughter of the late Vernon and Maudie Parsons Rhodes. She was a housewife and a member of Sandyville United Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter; Maudeline Carmichael of Belpre; one sister, Loraine Andrews of Kissimee, Fla; three grandchildren, Daniel Carmichael of Belpre; Kay Carmichael George of Belpre; Charlene Seevers of Marietta; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Staats; three brothers, Clyde, Winfred and Wendall Rhodes; five sisters, Adie Tolley, Tressie Staats, Georgia Farnsworth, Martha Rhodes and Pauline Miller. Funeral services will held 1 p.m. Thursday at Sandyville United Methodist Church. Burial in Ravenswood Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the Sandyville United Methodist Church
