Aaron PRINGLE - son of James Pringle, was born in Upshur county, Virginia, but has made his home in Jackson county since 1842. Mary J. Rayburn, born in Mason county, then part of Virginia, in the county of her birth became the wife of Aaron Pringle, their marriage consummated September 12, 1845. Their first-born child, whom they named James G., is deceased. Caroline, Ellen, Laura, Martha J., Aaron F., and Margaret E., have made homes for themselves in Jackson county, and the two youngest, George W. and John F., are living at home with their parents. The various avocations of a farming life occupy the time and energies of Aaron Pringle and the two sons who are at home, and their post office address is Fair Plain, Jackson county, West Virginia.

The Rev. A. Frank PRINGLE, aged 84, retired minister of the Baptist denomination, died Tuesday morning about 6 'o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Albert A. ANDERSON, of Belpre, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pleasant Valley Baptist church, near Kenna, preceded by a brief service at 11 a.m. at the Anderson home.
He was born at Fairplain, Jackson County, WV., son of the late Aaron and Mary Ellen PRINGLE. He spent most of his life in the Fairplain and Given communities, moving to his daughter's home six years ago. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Albert A. ANDERSON, of Belpre, Ohio, and Mrs. Frank BOSWELL, of Given; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Jane, one son, three brothers and six sisters. (Jackson Herald, Fri., 13 March 1942)
Rev. A. Frank PRINGLE was born May 15, 1857 at Fairplain, Jackson County, WV., and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert A. ANDERSON at Belpre, Ohio, on March 10, 1942 at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 25 days.
He was the son of Aaron and Mary Ellen PRINGLE and spent the most of his life in Jackson County, WV., and adjoining counties. He was united in marriage to Eliza Jane GREENE and to this union three children were born, one son and two daughters. Surviving are: Mrs. Albert A. ANDERSON, of Belpre, Ohio; Mrs. Frank BOSWELL, of Given, WV. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death six years ago, one son, Floyd Owen, preceded him 38 years ago. He was the last of a family of 10 children. (Jackson Herald, Fri., 20 March 1942)
