Gracie F. Blue
Gracie F. Blue, 93, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2009, at the Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 29, 1916, in Kenna to the late Perry and Dona (Hardman) Parsons. Mrs. Blue worked in the clerical department for the State of West Virginia. She was also a former member of the ladies auxiliary for the VFW.
She is survived by sister, Betty Gilkey of Middleport, Ohio, and Geneva Shackelford of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Denna Parsons of Dayton, Ohio; special Niece, Debbie and Sam Boston of Letart; and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carol Blue, who died in 1971; brothers and sisters, Johnny Parsons, Agath Casto, Gertrude Duff, Grovie Lanham and Richard Parsons. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Meigs Memory Gardens in Pomeroy, Ohio, with Charles Casto Officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Middleport, Ohio.
